Rev. Bill Ford and his wife, Marcie, are deeply thankful to call Bruington home. Bill has served as the minister at Smyrna Christian Church since November of 2019, bringing more than 25 years of ministry experience to the congregation alongside a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. Originally from Northeast Georgia, where they spent most of their lives, the Fords have embraced this ongoing chapter of life and service within the community.
Marcie is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist with four decades of nursing experience. Together, Bill and Marcie feel truly blessed to walk alongside the Smyrna Christian Church family and continue their personal and professional journey in Bruington.
Director of Music
Nancy first started attending Smyrna Christian Church in October of 2021. By March of the following year she had begun her creative work as Director of Music, bringing degrees in both Piano Performance and Music Education.
Her service includes home and foreign mission work, a plethora of on-stage performance experience, and a successful business that combined her love of music with twin-construction children’s books in Braille. At Smyrna, Nancy enjoys working with every voice and gift to help all blossom for the Lord.
Board of Directors Chair
Lewis Ball serves Smyrna Christian Church as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Lewis grew up in Bruington, and has committed his life to serving both his community and his church.
He loves seeing all faces at Smyrna, and he welcomes all with curious minds and hearts to join our congregation. Lewis is passionate about serving God, guiding fellow believers through faith, and showing love and care to those in need.
